A Little Bit About Me
My friends say I always have a smile on my face and a spring in my step, and I guess that sums me up pretty well - easy going, with a bright outlook on life.

Grew up in N Ireland with the famous Irish sense of humour and love of life, its given me a great balance and confidence in who I am - Indian/Irish/Muslim, the lot! Living in London for the past 10 years I love all the cultural stuff the big city has to offer - music, arts, film etc. Having just completed a PhD in conflict studies and development I am passionate about world affairs, bringing with it a very broadminded outlook with a love of different cultures, and a taste for travelling. Over the last 4 years I have spent chunks of time in Israel/Palestine and Kashmir (india and pakistan) for my PhD and I would really like to spend more time living abroad.

I have a very close knit family with a moderate outlook, though we have a lot of respect for our cultural and religious backgrounds. I am particularly close to my brother and sister with whom I can guarantee a good discussion and an even better laugh with.
